Let the Good Times Roll- Our Annual Event Extravaganza

Corporate Event Planners San Francisco

On Tuesday, March 5th (the actual date of Fat Tuesday this year), we hosted its annual event extravaganza, appropriately titled Let the Good Times Roll: A Masked Mardi Gras. On the heels of last year’s Vernal Equinox event, this year’s experience took a more literal approach, showcasing the company’s ability to elevate a well-celebrated annual event and take it to the next level.

Once again partnering with the incredible Bently Reserve event space in downtown San Francisco, our team took to work revamping the spaces into iconic neighborhoods of New Orleans. For the second year, 49 Square was the exclusive catering partner and during early planning meetings, they worked with members of the Entire team to design the banking hall as the historic French Quarter/Bourbon Street area; the Farallon Room as the enchanting Garden District, and the Sansome Lobby and Adriatic Room as a VooDoo inspired cemetery. The results were incredible! The delicious menu of cajun inspired bites they curated reflected the tastes and scents of the region. Partnering with Ideas Event Styling and One True Love, the decor pieces could not have been better aligned with the theme and really brought the different neighborhood settings to life. The signage, provided by Dynamite Digital, reflected Entire’s Claire O’Neill’s brilliant brainstorm to use the decor lamp-post pieces as directional signage; finding clever ways to utilize the decor.

As guests arrived, they were greeted by the traditional sounds of the Honor Brass Band, who embarked on a procession of the event space, reflecting New Orlean’s famed tradition of a second line parade. The entertainment, which is at the soul of our business and what we are best known for, could not have been more on point. Guests were treated to two additional musical performances, by Hella Fitzgerald and Zydeco Flames, as well as a stunning aerialist performance, the reveal of shadow dancers on the balcony and a nod to inclusivity with a drag “Glitter and Be Gay!” featured set. The captivated looks on the guests’ faces (and the cell phone cameras up in the air!) are the ultimate sign of success to the Entire team and the reward for the hard work that goes into planning.

Our Production Services Manager, Karen Waldmann, always the skeptic (as the one who works out all of the nitty-gritty details often is!), hesitates to say that the event was “seamless,” however she does feel as though this was one of the most well-executed events she’s had the pleasure of producing. The day ran stress-free, an indication of all of the hard work each team member put into their respective responsibilities leading up to the big day, and a compliment to each of our sponsors and talent, who are the consummate professionals. We are humbled to work alongside these peers and thanks to everyone who made A Masked Mardi Gras the success it was. And most importantly, we can’t wait to bring this level of creative fun, and detail execution to each of our client’s events!
