I get by with a little help from my friend's...
Event Design Los Angeles
Last month we had the very fortunate opportunity to help co-produce a summer carnival for My Friend’s Place, a homeless youth day shelter located in Hollywood. In partnership with The Little Gray Book, NACE LA, and Event Pro’s Take Action, we programmed a variety of talent, games, and food for an afternoon full of fun and smiles!
For many of these young adults, My Friend’s Place is their safe haven. Being able to support the shelter's efforts not only brought so much joy to our attendees and volunteers, it also allowed us to share our passion for events with our community.
I cannot thank our talent enough for their time and effort to make this carnival a total success. Below are links to their bios and photos of the day to see them working away.
And special thanks also goes to the following:
Ernie Mondaca of Surface Productions for his sound system and event expertise contributions; Leisa Gray for donating the dunk tank, popcorn machine, and cotton candy; and volunteers Jose Ramirez of AFR Furniture Rentals, Clint Upchurch of Extraordinary Events (even on his B-day!), and others from the Emerging Leaders Council of My Friend’s Place.
We look forward to many more opportunities ahead to help the amazing city of Los Angeles.
Cheers! Morgan
