Entire Productions Unveils Newest and Biggest Solutions for Corporate Virtual Event Entertainment

CorporateVirtual Event

It’s easy to feel as if the past three months have defied all laws of space and time. Settling into week 7 of Shelter In Place feels like finally being able to rise to the surface and catch a breath of fresh air from the weeks of treading water. Our starter yeasts have also breached the surface and the wisteria and other iconic San Francisco foliage have begun to bloom in sweet, succulent smells and colors, painting our now quiet little city.

Spring typically invites inspiration and new growth. But, where do you look for inspiration during a global pandemic? Our virtual event management team has been inspired by the hard work, determination, and innovation of the essential workers carrying this nation on their back.

Our virtual entertainment team has been working tirelessly to find solutions to our current industry crisis. Most importantly, we have been finding ways to support our artists and local vendors. Thus, the birth of several new virtual event projects!

ENTIRE PRODUCTIONS TIMELINE

March 10 Our Annual Event is Cancelled due to COVID-19

Our annual event, Into The Wild, was scheduled for March 17 at the California Academy of Sciences. If you’ve been to or seen footage of our past annual events, you knew this was set to be the party for the ages.

The event was set to be split up in themed biomes. Animal stilt walkers would roam from room to room, bobbing to the beats in the mid-century luxe Arctic biome (designed by Dekko88) and weaving through the desert tones and safari hats of the African Hall (designed by Rion Designs).

African drummers would wow and surprise the guests as the “gratitude tree” lighting began, illuminating the expressions of appreciation for each other.

The event planning business generates $325 billion of direct spending in the USA and helps support more than 5.9 million jobs with $249 billion of labor income, according to an Oxford Economics and Events Industry Council study in 2018. "

March 17 Annual event was due to take place and SIP order begins. (Remember, this was the date of our BIG Into the Wild Event!)

Sam Johnson Live! - Entire Productions Events

March 23 First Lockdown Lunch Break Live Stream with Sam Johnson

The first of many innovations was our Lockdown Lunch Break Live Stream. With live events being canceled en masse, we had dozens of artists now out of work and no new opportunities to market themselves. Not to mention how monotonous the work from home lifestyle is! Each Monday and Friday (now just Mondays) at 1 PM PST, one of our amazingly talented artists goes live on our Facebook and Instagram live for a free performance! We provide a link for tips and donations which the artists receive 80%. And it’s been a success! Not only have we seen growth in the virtual event space, but we also had a request for one of our DJ/saxophonist to perform a wedding next year!

April 19 EntireVariety Episode #1

Our next big move was the introduction of our virtual variety show, EntireVariety. Watch the inaugural edition of our variety show that was born during the time of the self-isolation shelter-in-place mandate. We want to entertain, inform and excite viewers in an as interactive way as possible. Our first episode had performances by musician Vudajè, and magician Kevin Blake. There were also opportunities for giveaways from our sponsor, Snibbs. Essential workers were nominated and chosen via the Zoom chat function and they were sent their very own pair of the shoes designed by an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Snibby of Southern California!

May 3 EntireVariety Episode #2

The second episode was an even bigger success! Sponsored by AllSeated, we had performances from Lockdown Live Stream veterans, Dirty Cello, and world-renowned keyboardist, Victoria Theodore, who has toured with Beyoncé and Stevie Wonder. Virtual event attendees were wowed by death-defying aerialists, Christine and Nina of The Dahlias. This time, we gave away a beautiful pair of shoes from Seecas to a lucky winner. (you have to be on the live show in order to win.)

Baby Baz's Shower - Virtual Events

May 6 Katie’s baby shower

One of the strongest sentiments felt by our virtual event planner team is the lack of non-work centered communication. We stay up to date with all of our activities throughout the day via Slack and other channels, but we’ve been missing the comradery that our office provides.

Our Account Executive Katie, was feeling this especially hard, just 5 weeks away from her first newborn and still no baby shower!

As the leaders in corporate event entertainment, we knew this was something we had to do for our friend. We DoorDashed her pregnancy craving, Cheesecake Factory, and logged on together to celebrate and spend time catching up. One team member was designated to display the other’s baby photos and we wrote down our guesses. Apparently we were in desperate need of some team-bonding because none of us could guess who each other were!

After grilling her with questions of what size the baby was (a 5 lb spaghetti squash at the time), names (Sebastian aka “Baz”), and how good the cheesecake was (really good), the mom-to-be entertained us with a rendition of Johann Sebastian Bach (the inspiration for baby Baz’s name) on her baby grand piano. Our hour-long Zoom started to go over as we discussed working from home, pet activities, and how much we ALL needed this. We bonded, laughed, cried, and most importantly, Katie felt appreciated.

We’d love to plan your virtual baby shower or any other celebration!
