Wesla Whitfield
Drawing on timeless standards as well as lesser-known gems by Cole Porter and Irving Berlin and Rodgers and Hart, this amazing vocalist--along with her husband/pianist/arranger, Mike Greensill--has performed in revered venues across the country, including San Francisco's York Hotel Empire Plush Room, Michigan's Meadowbrook, New Jersey's Garden State Art Center, and Flint Center in Cupertino, opening for stars such George Burns, Michael Feinstein, and Frankie Laine. She's also made solo symphonic appearances in San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Omaha, Stockton, Napa, Auburn, Concord Pavilion, and Santa Rosa. Wesla has appeared on Garrison Keillor's national show, Prairie Home Companion, as well as the Marian McPartland PBS Piano Jazz series.
